In a nutshell
- We only use what is necessary for the website to function: logging into your account and a few settings in your browser.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not ask you for consent.
- If we add statistics or advertising in the future, we will ask for your consent first.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) works similarly, keeping information only on your device. Both are governed by Law 3471/2006 (Article 4 para. 5) and the GDPR. Absolutely necessary functions do not require consent.
2. Cookies we use

|---|---|---|---|
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* |

wordpress_test_cookie |
Checks whether your browser accepts cookies during login. | Session | Essential |
If you do not log in, no cookies are stored by us.
3. Browser local storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
re24_favs |
The listings you saved with the heart icon. They remain only on your device. | Until you delete them |
re24_draft |
Draft of the listing you are writing, so it is not lost if the page closes. Deleted upon publication. | Until publication |
re24_pos:* |
The point in the list where you were, so you can return there with the back button. | Session |
re24_lang_hint |
Remembers that you closed the suggestion for the English version. | Until you delete it |
4. Third-party providers
- OpenStreetMap maps: your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers, which see your IP address, without setting cookies.
- Stripe: when you pay by card, you are directed to Stripe’s payment page, which uses its own cookies for payment security. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
5. How to manage them
You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you block them, search will work normally, but you will not be able to log into your account and saved items will be lost.
6. Changes
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page. For queries: info@realestate24.gr. See also the Privacy Policy.
